Policy
Number of people
Each package is designed for up to 8 people in a party. Additional people can be added to a party for an additional fee. The additional fee depends on which package you choose. The additional fee amount will be on the page of the package you choose.
The Tattoo
Each package comes with a different tattoo option.
THE FLASH SHEET: When you book your event, we will design a flash sheet specifically for your party. We will collect information from you before drawing the flash sheet to find out what sort of subject matter everyone is into, to help us design something that we know you’ll like. The flash sheet will be designed and finalized at least a week before the event date.
CUSTOM TATTOO FOR ALL: Another option will be the group custom tattoo. This is for groups who all want the same tattoo. We will work with you to design a tattoo that you and your whole party agree with. The design must be finalized at least a week before the event date.
INDIVIDUAL CUSTOM TATTOOS: With the Vatican package, you will have the option for everyone in your party to get any tattoo they want as long as it is within the size parameters for that package. For this, we will work with each person in your party to design the exact tattoo that they want. All custom tattoos must be finalized at least a week before the event.
GET WHAT YOU GET MACHINE: Certain packages give the option for a tattoo from our “Get What You Get” machine. This requires no prior planning. The way it works is, you pull a design from the machine. Whatever comes out is what you get tattooed. If you dont like what comes out of the machine, $20 gets you another pull. If you change your mind and decide not to get a tattoo from the machine, you may choose from the flash sheet that was designed for your party.
COLOR AND SHADING: Color and Shading is included with all tattoos. That goes for any package. You do not HAVE to get color and shading if you don’t want it, but it IS included.
LOCATION: Tattoos will not be done on any genital areas, or faces.
PAPERWORK: Getting tattooed during your event will be the same process as getting tattooed on any other day. ID will be required for everyone, and everyone will be required to fill out a consent form.
The Goodie Bag
Each package comes with a goodie bag for everyone in your party. The bag will include a FREE tin of TatWax, a coupon to get a certain amount off your next tattoo, and if you opt for the Vatican package, each bag will have a $100 gift card to the shop instead of a coupon. All coupons and gift cards are for future use only. They cannot be used the day of the event. Coupons and gift cards cannot be combined with other coupons or gift cards at any time. The goodie bags will also contain various types of candy. Some of the candy may contain peanuts or other things that some people may be allergic to. So please be mindful of what you’re about to unwrap and eat.
Food And Beverage
Some of the packages we offer come with a food and beverage option. You will have your choice of Donuts, Pizza, or sushi. All of the food may contain things that some people are allergic to, so please be mindful of what you eat. Once you book your event, we will contact you and discuss which food you’d like to have at your event, and what variations you’d like of that food. If you opt to have sushi at your event, there will be a $50 charge on top of the cost of the event. We will also discuss what sort of beverages you’d like to have at your event. There will be no alcohol included in the beverages options because we do not tattoo people who are drinking or who are intoxicated. Tattoos and booze do not mix.
Safety
DRINKING: We understand that you may be booking this event as a celebration. However, we ask that if you are going to drink at any point during your celebration, that you do so AFTER you leave the shop.
CAPABILITY: To get into the shop, you must be able to climb stairs. The shop is NOT wheelchair accessible.
We are not responsible for any injury sustained before, during, or after your event.
We are not responsible for any loss of property sustained before, during, or after your event.
We are not responsible for any damage of property sustained before, during, or after your event.
We ask that you remain courteous of those around you and respect the shop during your event.
Booking
To book an event with us, all you have to do is send us an email through the CONTACT page on the site or by sending it directly to Blackvaticantattoos@gmail.com . Once you send us the email, we will reach out to you within 24 hours. So please keep an eye out for our response. If you leave a phone number in your email to us, we can also text with you if thats easier. Once we establish that you want to move forward with booking your event, you will be asked to send a 50% deposit to lock your date in. Deposits are non refundable but they DO come off the cost of the event. The rest of the cost will be due no later than 24 hours before your event. Gift cards cannot be used to book an event. Once the deposit is sent, we will be in constant contact with you to coordinate all the details about your event. We will need you to come to shop to sign a standard contract for the event. The contract will be very straight forward with no fine print.
Outside Costs
Almost everything is included in the cost of the event. However, there are a few outside costs to be aware of.
SUSHI: The sushi food option will be an additional $50.
GET WHAT YOU GET: If you choose to get a design from the Get What You Get machine, that will be included in the price of the event. However, if you don’t like what comes out and you wish to pull another design out of the machine, it will cost an additional $20.
MERCHANDISE: We sell a variety of things at the shop like stickers, oddities, prints, paintings, etc… The cost of these things (should you choose to purchase something) is not included in event price.
TIPS: Tips are not required, nor do we expect them from anyone. They are however, appreciated.
